Plate heatexchanger panels (PHP)are manufacured from two sheets of metal by laser or resistance welding, forming a series of passes through which the heating or cooling media flows. The channels are formed by inflation after welding. The channel height and cross-section can be largely adapted to requirements as regards internal flow and operating pressure. To meet requirements of classification companies, i.e. TÜV all standard PHPs are designed to withstand burst pressures at least five times the rated working pressure. Works certificates can cover structural and pressure tests carried out during manufacture and can be supplied, as can official TÜV Pressure Test Certificates. The desired form of documentation should therefore be specified when ordering. Depending on different applications, double or single embossed plates with various designs are available. Connections can be provided either as tubes, sockets or flanges. Profile and wall thicknesses are chosen according to the requirements of flow rate, working pressure and pressure drop. Variations are possible. Contact us for your individual PHP !
