LOGO Shell & tube

High performance shell & tube heatexchangers determined and traded by us are available in various kinds of design and material.

Shell & tube heatexchangerclick here for more information have a removable tubestack, which is held in position by two “O” seals and is free to expand and contract within the cast housing, thus minimizing thermal  stress. It can be easily be removed should cleaning be necessary.
The standard CuNi 90/10 tubes and cast iron endcovers are satisfactory for fresh water, coppertubes are available on request. For contaminated, sea- or brackish water we can, at extra cost, supply bronze end covers and/ or tubes made out of CuNi 70/30.
The standard range can be used for temperature and pressure up to 120°C and 20 bar.  Special designs up to 150°C or higher and a limited range of coolers suitable for underground mining applications with water pressures up to 35 bar are available on request. Standard application for hydraulic use; click

Header tank heatexchangerqualified for combustion engines up to 1450 kW.click here for more information
These heatexchangers were originally designed for marine engines, but they are also widely used for various land based duties, such as engine testing and development  work, generator sets, fire pumps and combined heat and power systems (CHPs).  Similar to the standard shell & tube types, they have a removable tubestack as well; in  addition they incorporate a quiet zone header tank with a special deaeration feature and a pressurized filler cap.

Stainless steel shell & tube heatexchangers are particulary useful in bad water environments  caused by pollution or from the chemicals used to counter it. They can also be used to overcome the corrosive nature of some synthetic oils and refrigerants.
The endcovers can easily be removed should it be necessary to clean the inside of the tubes. All units are available in three- or single pass endcovers.
Maximum working temperature >200°C, maximum working pressure max. 25 bar
.

Exhaust gas heatexchanger   for combustion engines up to 400 kW and more
These special type of heatexchangerclick here for more informationis designed to remove heat from the exhaust gas of a natural gas or  Diesel engine and transfer it to the water circuit. It can also be used on engines operating in hazardous environments were it is necessary to reduce the temperature of the exhaust gases. Tubes, tubeplates and shell are of AISI316L (DIN 1.4404) stainless steel, endcovers cast iron; we can at extra costs supply stainless steel endcovers too.
Maximum working temperature tube side 700°C, shellside 150°C, 5 bar
(safety valve).

Swimming pool heatexchanger click here for more information for heattransfer >700 kW/ 2.500.000 Btu/h, pool capacities upto 1138 m3.
These heatexchangers provide a simple method of heating swimmingpool water indirectly from a central heating boiler. Similar to the standard shell & tube heatexchanger type, they have a removable highflow tubestack which is held in position  by two “O” seals and is free to expand and contract within the cast iron housing, thus minimizing thermal stress.

Furthermore available heatexchangers:
Engine- and transmission oil coolers
for gearboxes up to 900 kW
